Departure: Any day on request minimum 2 passengers

Day 1:

Depart from our departure points at 08h00 and travel via Witbank, Lydenburg to Ohrigstad. We travel to Blyde River Canyon to view the Three Rondawels a natural rock formation on the mountain. You will see the Canyon as well as Mariepskop Radar station on the opposite side on top of the Three Rondawels.

We then travel along the plateau to the amazing Bourkes Luck Potholes. Here we see the holes carved out in solid rock by the strength of the water over many thousands of years.

Our next stop is World’s View and then see the breathtaking view from God’s Window depending on weather conditions. Should the view be obscured by clouds we will return tomorrow morning. From here we will make our way down into the valley to Pilgrims Rest.

Time has stood still to some extent here in this Valley of Gold as we travel back in time to the 19th century in this quaint, beautifully restored old mining town dating back to 1873 when gold was first discovered.

You will have an opportunity to walk through the town and see all the houses of this National monument and check into the old Royal Hotel here. Perhaps you will enjoy a drink tonight in the hotel bar which was once a church. Enjoy dinner and overnight Royal Hotel Pilgrims Rest.

Day 2 :

Enjoy breakfast and then depart from this Valley of Gold. Depending on weather conditions on the previous day, we may go back to view God’s Window before we drive down from the escarpment down Kowyns Pass towards Kruger Park.

We enter into Kruger National Park (OR PRIVATE GAME LODGE) and enjoy the rest of the day game viewing in this national park which is home not only to the “Big Five”, Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard but a vast amount of different antelope, snakes and birds. Late afternoon at close of gates we enter Skukuza camp. This is our overnight stop. Dinner and overnight in chalets with private facilities (B,D)

Day 3 :

You will be woken early this morning as we leave camp at dawn and start traveling along the “Road of the Lions” along Sabie River driving southwards, stopping all along the way to watch the different species of animals that come down to the river in the early morning. We make our way to Lower Sabie for breakfast. After a hearty breakfast the guide will decide which is the best route to follow for game viewing and then the game drive for the rest of the day will continue.

A stop will be made for lunch at Satara camp which is situated in the middle of the park and then we drive to the lovely Olifants camp in the northern park of the park, Elephant country. This lovely camp is situated on the banks of the Olifants River high up on the cliffs overlooking the river below. Dinner will be enjoyed here and overnight.

Day 4 :

This morning enjoy breakfast at either Olifants camp or Satara camp and then we start making our way towards Orpen Gate while still doing the last of our game viewing. We leave the Park at Orpen Gate and the guide will decide which is the most scenic route to take back to Johannesburg which is all based on the weather at the time. Your time of arrival is 17h00.

The routing of this itinerary may change, depending on camps available in Kruger Park. Prices are available on application. WE CATER FOR ANY SIZE GROUP IN LUXURY VEHICLES.
